Mathematics is a discipline where a child must grasp the logic and clear class of a formulas. If these concepts are basically defined, then a scholar simply needs to practice and get a command of the idea by preforming the easy models. As the outcome of working hard and building upon a sound basis, a higher value of A or B can be anticipated with no any hesitation.
Finding the right "handle"
When a student is really having a hard time, I try to find the proper "handle" in order to apply to let the student to realise the idea. Because of my practice from a very long career where I had a teaching position, albeit beyond education, I can demonstrate the effect of numeracy, and of the basic need to set up a person's confidence. I strongly consider the secret to becoming qualified at or good in mathematics is in the teaching; it is definitely not the child's fault if the teaching is miserable and/or doesn't launch the consciousness and help them "get it", enjoy it and also become convinced at it.
The teacher-student relationships
I believe that a scholar will not learn if they are not stimulated and engaged, and a particular good prime mover for students is the tie between the student and the teacher. A supportive treatment, and an atmosphere where the relations between child and tutor can grow and ensure frank dialogue, so the scholar is not nervous to address areas of weak point and misunderstanding, will be supplied. I work hard to establish a supportive and respective relationship with any child I teach, so that they too can praise the amazing knowledge into the natural world that science and mathematics give me.
I am able to teach students in any grade of mathematics. I believe that my excellent strength is actually to meet the individual child at the grade they currently are, and motivate them further. I strongly believe that nothing is more important for great results that the student's self-esteem. It is my objective - to help students get faith in themselves with mathematics and walk through. Some details satisfy me even more than when a child experiences it and their self-confidence grows.
